We are always taking
applictions for membership. However, there are requirements that we must maintain:
1. Must be 18 years old
2. Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
3. Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License
4. Must submit to a background check
5. Must be in good physical condition (if applying for firefighting,
you must pass a physical examination)
6. Must be available to attend monthly business meetings and trainings
(held on every Thursday of the month)
7. Must be able to devote a substantial amount of time for emergency
calls throughout the day and night (though we are staffed M-F 8am-6pm)
It takes alot of time and commitment, but the rewards are well
worth the effort...ask any member.
You'll get a sense of pride second to none.
You will also get...
1. Training in firefighting and/or EMS(we provide the proper training you need).
2. Dress Uniform (monogrammed polo shirt, belt, and trousers).
3. Pager and charger unit to receive emergency dispatches.
4. If applying for firefighter, NFPA-approved firefighting turnout gear.
